This will be my last layout for the fabulous challenge blog sketchabilities as a member of the team. The last months I learned so much. Ich habe in den vergangenen Monaten so viel Spaß gehabt und so viel gelernt. Ich weiß, das werden alle meine Teamkollegen auch sagen, darum möchte ich euch berichten was genau ich nun gelernt habe. Hinter den Kulissen von designteams laufen viele Dinge ab, die niemand je zu sehen bekommt. Es ist ja eigentlich logisch, dass ein team sich absprechen muss. Die Sketche, die die wunderbare Karan Gerber uns zum Arbeiten gab, braucht das Team ja schon lange im Voraus. Welcome to my year 2014 ! During the last 3 weeks I have been a lazy bone and couldn't wake up from my christmas blues. But that's why I love deadlines: They drag you back on the road. With each sketch we get it seems to be more and more fun! When I jumped on the sketchabilities bandwagon this autumn I had no idea how my own scrapbooking will develop, but I have to admit it turns out to become more and more 'me'.  I am a crafter of several diciplines, like paper, painting and sewing. The latest addicition with jewellery seems to fit in perfectly fine. Today its a bit of everything: sewing, fabric, scrapping and ICE resin from my brandnew jewellery hobby. Welcome to another sketch from the lovely Karan Gerber . This time I have been in such a hurry that my layout doesn't look finished. But the more I scrap the more I feel I need to reduce the elements of my layouts to please my eye. This is one of the less is more ones for me. Todays layout for sketchabilities is a bit different. Most of it was made while I was working on a booth at a craft show. The owner, a dear stamping friend of mine, sells her own stamps (some of them with my designs) and basic stamping equipment. Because on each craft show there are so many people new to stamping I keep doing demos with the most elemental technique of all: Embossing. Das liegt daran, dass es fast komplett während einer Bastelmesse entstanden ist, bei der ich am Demotisch die grundlegenden Stempeltechniken vorgeführt habe. When I applied for this autumn/winter term on the designteam of sketchabilities , I thought I will learn a lot and proove myself worthy. Als ich mich für das Team vom Challengeblog sketchabilities beworben hatte, wollte ich etwas lernen und zeigen dass ich das kann (lernen). Womit ich kaum gerechnet hätte war der große Spaß den alle Layouts machen! Das neue Layout Nummer 102 haben meine Kollegen im Blog wieder wahnsinnig aufwändig oder künstlerisch umgesetzt. It's time for another sketchabilities layout! For me, this layout was the most challenging so far, because the owner of the sketchabilities challenge blog - Karan Gerber - gave us a stunning sketch to play with. Like I said before I am a newbie to scrapbooking and I am keen to learn.  What can I say... Welcome to another blogpost for the challengeblog ' sketchabilities '. As part of the team of autumn/winter 2013/14 I am so happy to be chosen to play with Karan Gerbers artsy sketches. To remember them while working on the layouts, I print the sketch and take it to my craft room. When I am finished, I know it by heart! And love them even more.
